Bear Traxx Entertainment

My Name is Jonathan Victor Melancon, a student attending University of North Florida where my major is in Communications focusing in Journalism. In 2017, I  started my own podcast, Bear Traxx, to discuss various topics including politics, sports, pop culture, and random relationship scenarios. With my adaptive nature and comedic relief, I am able to invite a plethora of guests to discuss an array of topics.

 I facilitate my love of music and entertainment by watching documentaries of famous actors, musicians, and political figures. In 2019, I began writing, producing, and directing different shows every week.  By standing in front and behind the camera, I wanted to become as valuable as possible while continuing to promote entertainment through individuality. 

My long term goal is to open a media firm in my hometown of New Orleans. By attracting the attention of investors, I hope to providing opportunities for youth and a spotlight on interesting people and stories. My personal philosophy as a journalist is everyone has a story to tell, and it is my responsibility to bring those stories to the light. Through this belief, a united front can be garnered by gaining understanding of the experiences of different people.
